Cuteness...Pain

Let me just start off by saying I have clogged ducts again, in the same boob! This sucks! I'm trying my hardest to get rid of it before it turns into Mastitis. I've been pumping, nursing, massaging & putting heat packs on it. So far it's okay & it seems that the lumps are going away. Knock on wood.

A while back my friend Keri & I made tutus for our babies. They turned out pretty cute being our first time attempting. Yesterday I decided to take a few pics of Rylee in hers.

Here are a few non edited ones & the ones she was screaming in because it was her nap time. Bad momma.

She has been a good baby lately. She goes to bed at 8:30pm every night now & wakes up around 5am, but then she's hard to get back to sleep. Normally she'll go back to sleep around 6am and sleep until 9 or so. However, last night we were up at 2:30 & 6:45. Blah.

Last night I get out of the shower & walk into my living room and this is what I see...

So CUTE! She must have been super tired to fall asleep like that.

Summer time is COMING!!! I'm so excited to order Rylee super cute bathing suits & cute water diapers. We will be hanging out at the pool & beach a lot!! I'm going to buy one of those tents you can set up and a water raft so when she's in the water she can be covered by shade too.  I hope she likes the pool/beach as much as I do!

And the time Jeremy & I have been waiting for................

The iphone has FINALLY came to Verizon! Pre-Order starts in a couple days at 3am! O.M.G. I do not want to have to wake up to pre-order this thing, but I guess I will since this is his Valentines present & he has no idea! Too bad I can't get one yet because my contract isn't up and it's a gasping $600.00 if your contract isn't up! LUDACRIS!

Although we don't co-sleep sometimes Rylee thinks our bed is her bed. 

We were going to try putting her in the crib during night time the other night, but I've just decided I'm not ready for it. She still sleeps in her bassinet next to my side of the bed & that's how I like it. I love hearing her breathe. I would still be able to if we move her, but maybe when she's 6 months old I'll do it. That's also the first time we will try baby food! 

What happens in 37 weeks..

I can never catch up...

Everyday I say I'm going to blog and somehow I get so easily distracted. Maybe it's the baby?

She's been sleeping since 8:30am and it's now 1:06pm. I surely hope she decides to sleep tonight! Last night she slept from 8:30pm-4:20am then back to sleep at 5am until 7:30am. Unfortunately, I had to wake up before the 4am feeding to pump because my good ol' boobs were SO incredibly engorged. I know I shouldn't complain, but the one night I should have been able to get decent sleep and I wasn't able. BOO!

I have decided to invest in a Silhouette SD.

It was between this & the Cricut. I've decided this because:

- You can get FREE font & FREE designs on your computer

...and we all know how I love free stuff. 

I'm stoked to get it in! I can't wait to make my own stencils and become creative, especially for Rylee's 1st birthday!

Saturday I went to a baby shower for one of my good friends 2nd baby.

While we were getting ready she passed out in her swing..

She's due March 19th..I think.

Daddy stayed home with Rylee Sunday & poor baby cried for 30 minutes. =( Then she ended up falling asleep on the couch.

Renee is one of my very few friends that always has the most encouraging and supporting words. I just love her & she's crazy about Rylee.

Unannounced visitors

Lately people are annoying the hell out of me.

I hate when people come over unannounced. I love visitors, but only ones I expect to come over.

Last Saturday Jeremy was fishing, Rylee & I went shopping with my mom all day. I get home that night and there's a note on the door from his mom and it said "Sorry I missed you. Saturday @ 230. -Dee" I suppose it's a nice gesture, but I really dislike that. What if I was home napping? Yes, I STILL take naps sometimes with her because we still have a few rough nights.

Then, my grandma is in town & she just shows up. I understand she's only here for a few days, but all she has to do is call! I didn't answer the door. That may be mean, but I'm sick of it.

Today, Rylee was napping so I decided to lay down too. I just get to sleep and a lady knocked on my door (the same lady that just knocked on my door 45 minutes prior.) I never answer my door unless it's someone I know because there are crazies in the world today! Doesn't she get I didn't answer the 1st time so I won't the 2nd either? How incredibly annoying.

It doesn't help that Diesel goes NUTS every time someone knocks. We have a doorbell too, but Jeremy disconnected that (thank god.) When I say he goes nuts, he starts barking super loud (he is a 90lb pit bull), starts growling, and jumping at the window. HA HA! It sounds like he's a massive killer or something, but once you open the door his tail starts wagging..lol.

Okay..that's it.

I need everyones help...

Coupons!

I'm officially obsessed with saving money. I wasn't really before. I don't know why it just never occurred to me how much money you can really save if you try. Today marks the day I'm really going to put effort into doing this!

Yesterday Jen and I went shopping for Rylee & a baby shower gift. Rylee was SO good the entire time & even slept for the most.

On Amazon I bought a pack of 180 Pampers diapers for $10.00!! I had a $10 off coupon, plus an additional 20% off coupon from the American Baby magazine (they send coupons in every monthly issue, and it's a free subscription!) & then Amazon gave me 30%!  I also bought a 3 pack of 18oz Aveeno baby shampoo & body wash for $15! I looked in Publix today and they were $6 a piece there. Then...I bought this Baby Einstein jumperoo for $75!! I scored. The jumperoo is usually around $90-100. All with free 2 day shipping!

I had to buy the jumperoo because we went to my moms the other day and she loved hers.

I did save $20 at Publix today. I'm going to look into attending a couponing class so I can really get into it! Since I'm not working full time anymore I need to save money so I can still shop! =)

I bought a new bra yesterday because these milkers are HUGE. I want my perfect Cs back. =( I had to buy a 34 DD!!!! O.M.G.

Revamp

I've redone my blog! I refuse to pay anyone to make it pretty so I attempted. In all honesty, what do you judges think? What can I do to improve?

This has taken time! Luckily my little baby cakes went to sleep early!

I'm watching Miss America as our own Plant City lady runs for it! Miss Florida; Jaclyn Raulerson. So far, she's not in the semifinalist, but hopefully they pick her as one!

Playing catch up

I finally have a little time to myself! Rylee went back to sleep after the 7am nursing. I'm SO thankful for my video monitor. I wouldn't be able to let her stay in the bassinet in my room, with the door shut, without that thing. I'm sitting in my living room catching up on internet life & she's quietly sleeping and I can look over whenever I want to see her! =)  


Listen up moms, if that is ONE investment I had to choose, I would definitely pick that. It is seriously the BEST thing ever. 


I've decided to take this semester from college off. As much as I didn't want to, I thought it would be the best thing. I'm still getting the hang of being a mom & it's still all new to me. I will pick school back up next semester.


I'm excited for income tax time! I wonder how much more we will get since we can claim her?! =) Yippy! We've decided we're taking $1,000 of it and opening up her own stock plan at Publix, because we all know Publix stock is pretty much da bomb. This will pay for her college & wedding.

I really would love new couches & a new area rug. I love our couches now, but they are so cramped now that we have 4 of us and not just 3. I want some sort of sectional, black or dark brown leather.

I'm pretty much over my Mastitis (thank god.) I have to take antibiotics for 10 days, but my milk supply is coming back! That's the one thing I was worried about.

A day late..

I'm a day behind on my 30 days. I will catch up tonight.

The reason I'm a day late? Not because I'm lazy or I forgot, but because I woke up Sunday morning feeling like complete death. I definitely thought I was coming down with the flu. I went to work despite feeling like that & just kept feeling worse. I went to the bathroom during my shift & realized I definitely have Mastitis. My boob was really sore & had red spots on it.

What is mastitis? Mastitis is an unpleasant complication of breastfeeding — one that happens quite frequently, especially within the first six months of nursing. It is the swelling and inflammation associated with an infection in the breast tissue and milk ducts. Mastitis is quite painful, and needs to be treated immediately by a doctor.


With that being said, it SUCKED/SUCKS. I had a fever of 101 last night and my head was pounding. Body was achy. Luckily my awesome OB called in a script for me & it helped after my second dose. I went to bed feeling like crap, but I woke up at 3am for feeding time & my body aches & fever disappeared. My boob is still really sore though. I hope this goes away fast!

I can't stand when....

I probably shouldn't be writing this because I know it's such a controversial issue, but I've decided I don't care & everyone has opinions.

A dear friend of mine is pregnant. She's my age. I suppose she either wasn't on birth control or she just wasn't careful. Anyways, we grew up together & we pretty much best friends in high school.

I had lunch with her today & she was talking about how her boyfriend was laid off from his job, but he hasn't been looking for another one. How they have no money saved up and her baby is due in February. They have NOTHING for this baby. She's on medicaid. She works full time and is trying to go to school.

I feel sorry for them.

Part of me doesn't though. I don't understand people who get pregnant & can't afford babies. I 100% understand how women WANT to have a baby and experience it all; however, there is a better time if you can't afford it.

I don't agree with people getting on medicaid, food stamps, WIC just because they are pregnant. I understand mistakes happen, BUT you know the risks of having unprotected sex, you know you could possibly get pregnant. So, if you can't afford it then WRAP IT UP!

I don't want to have to pay for your child because you decided to have one, but you can't afford it.

"Dads" act this way?

This will be a slightly "down" post. I'll give everyone a little background first.

My dad has never really been in my life. He was in and out up until I was about 15. I never wanted to visit him.

My mom dated this guy, Bruce, for about 13-14 years. He pretty much raised me & we lived with him since I was 5 years old to about 16 years old. They ended up splitting up. So, I considered him to be my "dad". He was always so good to me.

He walked me down the aisle at my wedding, well half way, and my dad walked me the other half. Exactly what I wanted. He even gave me $1,000 for our wedding gift.

Last night while I was working he came in with a new girlfriend. Sad thing is, this has happened before, but NEVER when I actually saw him. He comes in & acts like he has NO idea who I am. I end up serving them since it was my turn & he still acts like that. He even walked out of the restaurant and just said "bye". Seriously?? After you raising me you're going to act like this because of a new girlfriend? I'm quite shocked.

He's done this before when he gets new girlfriends & doesn't call me or return phone calls, but I have never ever saw him in person where he's done this. I was in shock. I called my mom since I was pretty upset. I hope he doesn't try to call me. I'm NOT going to answer. That is SO completely & utterly messed up.

New Years 2011!

How things change in just a year.

Last New Years Eve was the best yet. We were with awesome friends with unlimited amounts of booze & lots of dancing.

My dear friend Alex who just had a baby a few days ago.

Although I wouldn't change a single thing I kind of missed going out this year. We stayed at home, played wii with my sister & my 2 nephews & had a few drinks. We were in bed by 10:30pm. I love my little family, but sometimes I miss my friends since we don't hang out as much.
