When I first announced I was pregnant SO many of my friends were uber excited and couldn't wait. "I'm going to spoil that baby rotten", many of them said. Want to know how many I still talk to?? Hm, maybe 5. There are those friends that are still "facebook friends", but are they really friends? Will they really help you out when needed? I highly doubt it.

I've said so many times it makes me sad how I've lost touch with so many of them. 2 of them being my bridesmaids in my wedding. I understand we all are on different wave lengths in our lives, but that doesn't mean you can't stop by for 2 minutes to actually meet Rylee. I'm not asking for them to slit their wrists and give me blood. 

Just stop by. Say hey.

I've come to realize that your 'friends' that say they're friends really aren't- at least most of them aren't. When you become a mom you get many new friends. You don't think your friends are going to be that way? Think again. I'm pretty positive 95% of new mamas go through this. You lose some, you gain some. 

I'm so lucky to have the people that I do in my life. They are my true friends. For those of you who haven't even met Rylee..screw you. She's almost 9 months old. Of course as soon as you have the baby everyone rushes over to meet them, but that's it. Hell- most of my friends didn't even do that. 

I love, love, love my friends that have stuck around and showed me they really are here to stay. I've gained some awesome mama friends and I'm glad I have women I can relate to- instead of going out and partying 24/7. I'm a mama now. I'm grown. I'm mature. I don't need drama nor do I want it. I'm happy with my drama free life. 

With that being said- be prepared to lose friends when you become a mama, but also be prepared to gain some amazing friendships as well.

1) Did my hubby seriously just turn 35?! 

And since when did he start referring to me as "mama?"

2) When we went to Chicago last week I saw this 

hot piece of meat  while waiting for the plane- dontcha want some?

3) Also saw this little girl with her crack showing :P

4) We have a bunch of mini vacations scheduled the next 2 months 

and it's slightly driving me insane.

We are headed to DC next week for a week.

Boca Raton a week after that for 4 days.

And St. Augustine at the end of August for 3 days.

Phew! 

Can I hire a packer?

(Unless you have a kid- you do not realize what it takes to go on vacation!) 

 

Birthdays!

Yesterday was Jeremy's 35th birthday! I still can't believe he's 35- what an old fart!

He kept saying how he wanted a german chocolate cake so my meme made him one! It looks pretty weird, but this is how it's suppose to look & it was DELISH!

 And, yes, that's 35 candles.

He came home to this...

Even diesel was a good sport! I'm proud of him!

We went to dinner and had a nice little family night. :)

Fathers Day 2011

We celebrated Jeremy's 1st Fathers Day this weekend! I wasn't sure what to get/do for him since his birthday is tomorrow so I decided to keep it low key.

I found these on a blog..

And immediately knew I had to do this! 

So I printed them on cardstock, 

cut them out and made a little coupon book!

It has coupons like:

Coupon for a day of golf.

Coupon for a diaper change.

Coupon for fishing.

Coupon for 1 hour of silence

and much more!

He loved it!

He also got a few other things. 

Rylee & I loved spending the whole weekend with daddy!

Since when did life get so busy?!

My life is seriously non stop I feel like! If I'm not taking care of Rylee I'm either cleaning house, running errands or school work. Blah!

Rylee has a little cold. :( It makes me sad. She probably got it from someone during the plane ride- nasty ass things. We went to the doctor today and he just told me to keep her elevated so everything drains out. I wasn't sure how that was going to work- but we came home and I propped her up in the crib and she passed out! She's been sleeping going on 3 hours! We had a rough night with her not being able to breathe that well. She needed this nap & so did I! I just woke up too! :)

We were suppose to go out on the boat this weekend, but if she's not better we're going to have to cancel. :(


And she's awake so this will have to end!

Chicago

We are finally home & I am caught up on everything..for now.

We had so much fun in Chicago!

Rylee was such an angel on the 

plane ride there..

 She even slept for 30 minutes!

 Our MISERABLE day at the zoo! See, Loni & I wanted to go to the waterpark because it was going to be in the high 90s, but the boys did not- so they won & we were miserable. We complained the entire time. It was definitely a day I won't forget. :P I don't think the boys will ever forget either.
