Lots of randonmess: spaghetti squash, bows, headbands, giveaways
I have entered so many stinkin' giveaways that I'm hoping I'll win one! I never seem to be the lucky type to win anything though..boo! We did go to a charity dinner the other night & we won a $25 gift certificate to Grillsmith & a $21 gift certificate to Burger 21! Maybe my luck is turning around.
I probably should go buy a lotto ticket.
I cooked spaghetti squash last night.
I was a little nervous because I've read mixed reviews about it,
but turns out- it's pretty good & healthier for you!
It's SO easy to cook & I mixed it with marinara sauce, mushrooms & hamburger meat!
Just like spaghetti, but with squash : )
If you follow me on twitter then this is a repeat, sorry.
I also found this website that has adorable headbands and all sorts of accessories for baby girls & it's all SO CHEAP! I ordered so many things..oops.
Glitter roses!
Antique roses!
Nylon headbands!
Sequin headbands!
Sequin flowers!
I'm all into saving money, but I definitely couldn't have made all of those for $20 so I bought them instead! : )

Night #2 with no swaddle/question for mommas!
I'm really struggling with the fact that Rylee is no longer a good sleeper. She never was "perfect", but she did sleep through the night 2 times before & she's slept better than she does now. The past month or so has been a little rough.
She's been going to bed around 8pm by being rocked & swaddled. I've been wanting to get rid of the swaddle for a while now since she rolls all over the place, but she just wouldn't calm down so we did the one arm thing out. Jeremy would rock her to sleep because as soon as you did she was pretty much out, but that had to stop sometime, right?
So, no more rocking her to sleep & no more swaddle. This is hard! Last night was pretty easy. She ate broccoli & sweet potato, bath, nursing & then story time. Then I laid her in the crib & she rolled over & pretty much went to sleep about 10 minutes later. I was thinking "this is going to be a good night." Yep, too good to be true. She woke up 2 times before 12:30am, but I was able to put her paci in her mouth & she passed back out. Then at 3:30 she woke up again, tried the paci & she wasn't having it, so I nursed her. She went back to sleep 30 minutes later. That totally beats the 2 hour time frame it would take me to get her back to sleep normally.
So, why did she go back to sleep so well?
WELL.......
A lot of other moms have been telling me not to change her diaper in the middle of the night unless it's pretty full or poop. I've always changed her diaper in the middle of the night. Not really thinking it may stimulate her too much, but I suppose it does. So I tried doing that last night. It may have worked? Or it may have been a freak of nature?
I find it kind of gross to not change her diaper if she wakes up, but she has slept through the night & I never woke her to change her. So, it's like the same thing, right? It's such a hard decision for me because I don't like the thought of her sleeping in pee all night, but if it helps us both get sleep I think I may just continue doing it....
Do you mommas change your babies diaper in the middle of the night all the time? Any insight would be great!

Weekend recap
This weekend was fun!
We went over to a friends house
Saturday night, past her bedtime,
BIG MISTAKE.
I thought I'd give it a shot so
Jeremy would get off my back.
We get there at 7pm (bed time is 8pm.)
She's fussy the WHOLE time.
To the point where if anyone looked at her
she would cry SCREAM.
It didn't help that NONE
of them had seen her since
she was a month old.
Great friends, huh?
Never, ever, ever again will I do that.
She did try broccoli for the
first time that night.
She didn't care for it so we mixed it
with PEARS! What a gross combo!
She ate it though.
We went to the park!
"That's Miss. Diva to you"
"Ooh..grass" Right before she face planted into the ground.
We went to the POOL!
She's my little water baby.
Excuse those gigantic mountains on my chest.

6 month checkup..housing.
Rylee had her 6 month appointment yesterday.
She is 17lbs 6oz & 27 inches long!
75th for weight & 90th for height.
My big, chunky girl.
Her pedi said:
"mommy has that high octane milk".
It made me smile.
Some may think it's gross..but I don't.
I feel awesome knowing I'm providing
EVERYTHING my munchkin needs.
She had 3 shots yesterday. : (
She only cried for a minute
& passed out.
No fever! Thank god.

The weekend
I love summer spring.
Why can't it be spring all year long?
Summers here are horrible;
100% humidity, 98 degrees.
Sigh.
The weather we're having now is...
PERFECT.
Too bad it's going to end soon.
I'm sad Amazon has discontinued
diaper coupons for now. = (
No longer can I buy a
190 pack of diapers
for
$15.00.
Yes, you read that right.
We had an awesome night.
Rylee slept from 8pm-5am
Up for a feeding
Back down at 530am until 830am!
WOO!
Thursday I decided to
put her in the shopping cart:
She loved it!
I actually was able to grocery shop
without forgetting everything!
PROGRESS!
On Saturday she was pretty excited
to go to the baseball game.
Yesterday we went shopping
with my mom for 5 hours.
Yes, 5 hours.
She was so well behaved the entire time!
Rylee scored a bunch of cute stuff!
There's an outfit in there for baby P too! : )
Crappy cell phone pic.
She is already in 9 month clothes!!
SO BIG!
