As of Monday she weighs 9lbs 4oz (up from 7lbs 7oz at birth) and 21in (up from 19in.) It's so refreshing knowing she's gaining like she should since I'm breast feeding, I was having doubts. Doc said to keep doing whatever it is I'm doing and that's always nice to hear!
She's getting SO big! Most of her newborn clothes are getting too short and her head is growing so I can barely fit them over it! =( It makes me sad. I want her to stay little, but it will be exciting with all the new things she will learn and be able to do! Time is going incredibly fast and I'm not a fan of it.
We are still debating on my work situation. I do not want to go back to work and have to put her in daycare for a number of reasons:
1) She will get sick 24/7
2) I don't trust people enough to take care of her.
3) I don't want to leave her! (I know most moms don't so maybe this shouldn't be a "real" reason)
4) I hate my job...okay highly dislike.
5) It's $800 a month! WOW!
and the list goes on and on.....
We have until December 17th to make a final decision.
Aiden's exact measurements at birth- same height and weight!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't imagine going back to work when they're soo little unless I had somebody that I trusted 100%, even then it would've been hard. Good luck with your decision, Momma!
I love these pictures! She is getting so big. Ryan was in newborn clothes until he was 2 months old & I was sad to move him to 0-3m.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you choose about going back to work- will be the best decision for you and your family. Will it be $800 a month for daycare?! That is crazy. If Tim's mom was unable to watch Ryan- it would have probably been A LOT harder to go back to work. Thank God she can watch him and that I LOVE my job!
