I used to have Feedjit on my blog because I like to see where people come from while reading my stuff, but then I decided I wanted it private because I felt like it was too much clutter.
So, then that's where my decision to get Statcounter came from. It's invisible & does the same thing as feedjit, right? Wrong.
This thing is so creepy to me! It tells you what type of system they're using on their computer, the exact time they visited- down to the second, their IP address & what internet they're using! Holy crap.
Well, they do say nothing on the internet is private, right? But this just brings it to a whole new level of weird.
I mean really? Is it necessary to know their IP address and what internet they're using? I don't care and I don't think people should care about that either. Blah. Okay..I'm done!
I was weirded out by it too when I first started using statcounter. Way too much info!

ReplyDeletefeedjit weirds me out especially seeing the weirdo's that typed in search words and came too my blog, bunch a pervs! haha I'm gonna try that statcounter because...well..i'm a control freak like that!! lol
ReplyDeleteOk, I don't think that's weird. That is awesome. I like the IP address thing. Now, if need be, you can look up the creep and block him with the IP address.
