my to do list is getting longer...

As if I didn't have a lot to do already we added another thing on our to do list.

Jeremy couldn't sleep the other night so he laid in bed thinking of all the things we could do to the house..oh joy. Not that I'm complaining because this is everything that needs to be done, but right before Christmas..really?!

So off we went to buy a new cabinet to put above the fridge & paint to repaint them. We really want new cabinets, but it's too expensive to upgrade since we aren't going to be in this house forever. So we decided to go with a cheaper option, plus it makes a HUGE difference.

We definitely aren't done..obviously. The top cabinets are the new ones & the bottom is the old. We still have to do the bottoms, but that will be a project for next weekend. I'll post pictures once we're completely done. Huge, huge difference!

We also bought new shelving for our closet so we can have more room.  

Oh and we went to a friends wedding Saturday & left Rylee at home! Whoa! 

And I had 1 too many glasses of wine..5 to be exact. Oops! I definitely woke up with a slight hangover. ;)

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful holiday & I hope everyone else did too!

I'm so thankful for all the people close to me in my life.

We are definitely blessed with some pretty awesome friends & family.

I baked my 1st ever homemade pumpkin pies.

I even cooked the pumpkins and dug the gunk out!

And the verdict?

Everyone loved it! YAY!

Let me just say what a difference a year makes..

And I'm 99.9% sure Jeremy would kill me if he knew I posted this next pic. Somehow he wore the same shirt from last year..ha ha! Looks like he'll be getting new clothes for Christmas. :P

I am totally whooped from Black Friday. I did some serious shopping. Like the type of shopping you leave at 6:30pm Thursday night & come back at 4am Friday morning, sleep until 7:30am, wake with the baby & then go back out shopping from 1pm-7pm. Yep, that was me this year, but I will say I am DONE Christmas shopping & it feels sooooooooooooo GOOD! I am exhausted since I'm running on 3 hours of sleep since Wednesday night.

Saggy Boobies..oh the joys.

Yep, you've heard it right.

I have saggy boobies...again.

I was cursed with small B cup boobies to begin with..

then I we decided I would get some enhancements..

so I did back in 2008. 

Let me add..it was the BEST investment EVER.

I wasn't really thinking about kids at the time we spent a small fortune on it, but I don't regret getting them because I we were able to enjoy these babies for a few years!

Since I nursed Rylee for 12.5 months my poor babies are saggy. Don't listen to anyone when they say "they'll go back to normal" because they DON'T! I think I'm actually smaller than what I was before..AH! 

So, yep, I've decided I will be getting another enhancement once we are done having chitlins...and I can't wait! 

We also have a FULL TIME walker! She doesn't even need the couch to help stand up. There is no turning back now. Let the madness begin!

And, my friends, be jealous that you're getting a sneak peak of our Christmas pictures. :P I'm trying to hold out on showing people I send Christmas cards too (and if you follow my blog- feel lucky!) because I want it to be a surprise. Maybe I'm lame? Anyways, we went yesterday & she wouldn't crack a smile, but hopefully we got some good ones.

What we've been up to..

I am feeling so overwhelmed! 

Rylee is a full time walker now so I seriously spend my days chasing her. 

It's exhausting.

Finals are coming up! 

Thank god. 

Only 2 weeks left and I'll be a free woman for a while! 

And pinterest? Well, I'm hooked.

I cannot stop making stuff!

I'm also working on a fabric wreath! Ah. 

Why do I do this to myself? lol.

We also just found out what Jeremy has secured his self a spot in a National fishing tournament! We are so excited! This is HUGE. A lot is at stake coming up in April and I'm so proud. It takes a lot of hard work to get in one of these. I won't say what the prizes are because I don't want to jinx us, but hopefully things will be on our side. :)

I am determined to send out Christmas cards every year now that we have Rylee! Before I would only send them out if I remember & we all know that translates to: never.

My Christmas list

It's November so now we can all start thinking about Christmas, right?!

It's my FAVORITE time of the year!

I love being with my family. 

I love all the food/desserts..fatty.

I love giving presents. & receiving.

My mom is already asking about our lists so I thought I'd make one.

Usually I get almost everything on my list so let's hope this year isn't any different.

What's on your Christmas list??

My little lovebug.

So, she was a ladybug, but she's my lovebug so that's what we will call it. :)

Technically, this was her 2nd Halloween, but last year she was only 3 weeks old so we just walked around with my nephew to trick or treat & didn't dress her up.

This year we had lots of fun! She was SO good. Especially since she's cut her naps during the day to only *gasp* 1! But, she takes a pretty long nap (like 2.5-3 hours now) but you better get everything done while she's out because that is your only chance!

She, surprisingly, didn't care about the wings! She kept the entire outfit on (2 hours) and was so good for it being past her bedtime! She slept like a champ too!

And I am going to apologize now, but 100% of my time is being consumed by school & my family. Once December 8th rolls around I will be A LOT more active. :)
