A few days late..

14 week bump-date! 

This headache is getting the best of me, seriously. I'm starting to come to the conclusion that I'm not drinking enough water- which is so weird for me because that's all I drink! Last night I woke up with a killer headache at 2am and I'm not really sure if I ever went back to sleep. :/

Besides that- everything is great! Rylee will hit my belly and I keep telling her "there's a baby in there" and she'll point to it and say "bay bay"- super cute!

My life here lately

I realize I've been absent here lately. I still read, but barely comment. I try to comment on all the blogs I love, but it's so hard when I have limited time.

I had a week off from school (hence why I can get somewhat caught up here), but starting this week I'm back in school for summer. It's a short semester (8 weeks for one class & 10 for the others.) I'm taking 7 credit hours in a short amount of time so I'll be pretty stressed the next 2 months. I only have 2 semesters to go before I apply to the nursing program so I really have to kick butt and get a 4.0 both semesters so I can hopefully have a secure spot in there.

We are slowly, but surely getting the 3rd room ready for this new nursery. We're still trying to find places for all of the crap we have in there now. We have a lot of crap! We bought shelving for the garage so all of his fishing stuff can go out there- about time. We put new shelving up in the laundry room & that's where all of our luggage (who knew we had so much?!) will go. Now to find spots for the hundreds of DVDs we have and everything else. AH. I need a master organizer to come do this for me! After we get all of the stuff out, we're ripping up the carpet to put new flooring, baseboards, blinds and paint up! Once that's done the fun stuff begins!

19 Months!

I can't believe my once little baby is 19 months old!

That means only 5 months left to plan your birthday! 

I don't even know what we should do for it!

I'm starting to get really horrible at taking pictures with my nice camera & seem to resort to my iphone a lot. Probably because it's always right with me (for the most part) and it's just easier. Shame on me. I need to start pulling out my camera more.

You LOVE when I paint your toenails! You know where I have the polish so you will go in my room & get all of the polish out, run to me & beg for me to paint them.

You love helping me with laundry, unloading the dishwasher & cleaning. If I don't let you help..well it's like the end of the world over here. 


You understand everything I say: "go get your sippy", "can you hand mommy that?", "time for a nap" , "let's brush your teeth" and the list goes on & on.

I can't believe you're getting so big & grown! You definitely have an attitude..like mama.

You always have to hide from Diesel when you eat because he likes to steal your food!

Oh...and miss independent over here- you have to eat your food your way or no way. It's difficult because you just get it everywhere, but you scream if we try to help you.

13 weeks!

We are 13 weeks today! Woo! 

Before I know it, I'll be halfway done cooking this baby!

 Thank god! ;)

Right out of bed picture- sheet lines and all! ;)

Clothes: Um, getting tighter & tighter..by the second, I'm convinced. Maybe if I would stop eating cookies, brownies & donuts, I'd be okay. ;) 

Symptoms: The fatigue has seemed to disappear for the most part. I'm having headaches all day, every day which SUCK. Nothing gets rid of them. :(

Food: Loving everything! I'm still in my coke kick, but water is starting to sound really yummy again!

Week 3!

We are coming to a close on week 3 of ISR lessons.

She's starting to get good! She never misses a step. We definitely have a drama queen on our hands. Her lessons are the same time Monday-Friday so she knows the routine by now & she's completely fine the entire ride there, me changing her into her bathing suit & walking up, but as soon as she sees the instructor the whining starts. She pretty much whines the entire 10 minutes (no tears, though) and as soon as the instructor goes to hold her & get her out she's fine. Drama, drama, drama!

Anyways, here is the week 3 video! Only 3 weeks to go!

Not an alien anymore!

We finally had our first ultrasound Monday!

It honestly felt like forever! 

We never had to wait this long with Rylee. (I had one at 9w with her!)

I haven't been able to get excited over this baby yet. I'm not really sure why. I thought when I found out I was pregnant, I would be so excited, but I'm not. Then I saw the baby yesterday moving all around, kicking, punching & it was the sweetest thing ever. 

Baby has long legs! He/She is already stubborn because the tech couldn't get her/him to roll over to get the measurements she needed. Then the baby fell asleep and wouldn't move at all! Stubborn!

The heart beat was 173 bpm! Strong little one in there. :) 

The babe had their legs crossed so we will have to wait for our next ultrasound to find out the gender. :)

I think we will throw a 'gender reveal' party for our close friends & family!

12 weeks!

We have made it into the 2nd trimester! 

Notice a little hand sneaking up?!

Symptoms: HUNGER! Spurts of nausea here & there, oh, and constant fatigue. I'm hoping the fatigue will stop here soon, but we shall see.

Clothes: I'm down to 1 pair of pants that I can wear comfortably. Poo. My shorts are starting to get tighter...and I see maternity clothes in my very near future. 

Food: Pretty much loving everything right now. Orange Juice is my favorite!
