Carrots are gross..no wonder she didn't like them.

Rylee actually slept all night again! 

Granted- I did have to get up and calm her down 3 times, 

but I never had to take her out of the crib.

We tried Carrots last night.

She hated it. 

Literally hated.

She kept gagging herself.

Did anyone watch The Bachelor??

I love(d) Emily.

 Notice the D at the end of love.

I just cannot believe her.

She was SO sweet & down to earth on the show.

Then on the "After the final rose" she really showed her true colors.

I hope she's not really like that &

She's down to earth like she portrayed herself.

And Diesel yawning like he's so tired.

Shopping? Yes, Please.

We went shopping for clothes since our family photo shoot is coming up!

 I can't believe I managed to get Jeremy to the mall & shop without complaining! 

I hope the outfits look good together & the colors coordinate well. 

I'm still trying to pick out Rylee's outfit. 

It's so much harder for her because I want her to look extra cute. : ) 

I am trying to post pictures, but the Express website is being gay.

I guess you will just have to wait until I get the proofs in to see!

Rylee didn't sleep through the night last night. =( 

She only woke up 1 time to eat so I guess it isn't too bad. 

I had to go in & calm her down 2 different times though..ugh. 

I won't miss this stage AT ALL. 

She's going on a 4 hour nap right now! 

YIKES. 

This can't be good for tonight, but I feel so bad for waking her up.

Speaking of tonight- I'm going to be SO tired tomorrow.

 The Bachelor finale is tonight! WOO! 

Yes, I'm addicted! 

I cannot wait! I really hope he proposes to Emily!

Oatmeal!

The past two nights she has slept through the entire night! Maybe the oatmeal is working for her? I don't want to jinx myself though.

She's starting to get the hang of eating from the spoon a little more.

I'm still only giving her a little bit at night before bed.

What a mess!

First time eating Rice. 

I just bought Brown rice, put it in my blender on the "grinder" setting & there you go...your very own rice powder! : ) 

I've decided to make her baby food from scratch. 

I don't like not knowing what's in baby food. 

She seemed to like it...

except that it went everywhere!

We'll try again tonight & I'm going to make oatmeal for her too. 

I've decided I'm only giving it to her at night until she's 6 months old.

Once she hits 6 months I'll try other foods. 

My friend, Sarah, is in labor right now! 

Rylee & I went up there for about 2 hours, but it was getting close to her nap time so we're back home.

I'm going back up there once Rylee wakes up.

She's trying to go epidural-free so she was wanting me to help her stay focused...

Everyone else up there is telling her to just get it.

I think she'll end up getting it though...

The doctor broke her water at 9:30am and by 9:40 she said she was in a lot of pain..

It's Friday! WOOT!

Last night was rough...again. 

She slept unswaddled from 8:30pm-3am. 

I woke up & nursed her.

Then she decided to not want to go back to sleep.

Luckily, Jeremy woke up with her and tried putting her back to sleep.

She slept unswaddled from 3:30am-6am.

I gave up & swaddled her up and she slept until 9:45am! 

I tried putting her down for a nap just a minute ago & she just screamed.

I swaddled her & off to dream land she went...

I'm nervous about still swaddling her since she rolls over on her stomach so much..

I guess I will continue to swaddle her until she hates it.

Just so I can maintain my sanity.

She is 5 months & 2 days today. 

I'm starting her first baby food tomorrow.

I think.

I was going to wait until exactly 6 months

but she stares at our plates ALL the time. 

I will only give her a little food at night time for now.

To celebrate her 5th month birthday....

She decided to become a rolling machine! She's rolled a few times before, but only once...now? She does it ALL the time. She started yesterday & I finally caught it on video!

How was last night? ROUGH!

 I swaddle her to sleep.

 I did the same thing last night.

Woke up at 11pm and she was on her stomach.

Somehow she rolled over while being swaddled.

I knew then it was time to get rid of her swaddle...in the middle of the night...

She didn't really sleep that well. She just kept rolling & rolling.

I gave up and fed her at 4am & put her back in her crib on her side.

I went to pump.

When I was done pumping I went back into her room & she was sound asleep ...on her stomach..

She finally slept from 4:30am-8am. 

I'm happy she knows how to roll over!

 It's so fun! 

You can just put her down on the floor & there she goes...rolling, rolling, rolling.

I just don't like it when she doesn't want to sleep.

Hopefully she'll get the hang of sleeping with no swaddle fast!
