Our weekend getaway :)

We woke up early Friday morning & headed down to Boca Raton. It's pretty much gorgeous down there. Beautiful water. Beautiful cars. Beautiful people. Did I mention it is beautiful?

We were about an hour and a half out and Rylee was passed out in the car. {thank goodness} All of a sudden I hear her coughing & it's a sound I've never heard before (if you're a mom you know what I mean.) I look back and there's vomit literally everywhere. All over her cute outfit. All over the car seat. All over my back seat. EVERYWHERE! I don't know why, but it was disgusting & that delayed us for 30 minutes while we pulled over. Sat her in the trunk. {open trunk, of course} Changed her clothe and wiped everything off as good as we could. Phew. That was quite an adventure.

Once we were there we went to lunch with Jeremy's friends & checked into our gorgeous hotel.

So, we walk in & asked if we could be upgraded to the hotel that's right on the beach. {Stupid me didn't realize this building was off of the beach} The director of the hotel walked up at the perfect time because she made a few phone calls & had us upgraded for FREE! {that saved us an additional $60 a night..phew!} She also gave us 6 free drink tickets! Nothing like sitting on the beach with a fruity drink in hand. =) So..instead we stayed here..

BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL!

After that we went down to the beach so Rylee could take a nap {and so I could try to get some sun on my pasty body.}

 After her nap it was play time! This is her 2nd time at the beach & she loves it!

My dang lens was on the wrong setting so that's why the pictures look totally white.

Saturday Rylee & I woke up and went down to the pool while Jeremy went fishing with his friends. Then we met up with them & went on a little boat ride.

Have I ever mentioned how she hates her life jacket?

Then we walked around the hotel for a bit before heading to dinner!

I don't even know when/where my dimples came from. I don't like them though.

Sunday was our last day so we rolled our butts out of bed & headed down to the beach before checkout.

 

 Ohh...Sand!

We have decided we're making this a yearly trip. So. much. fun.
